My daughter got a gilet for xmas, she tried it on and noticed a popper was missing, on examining it it had came undone and stuck inside the other part leaving the small hole where it should be! rang them after xmas and sent it back marking exchange on the form, it came back and has just been repaired, they had not even bothered to take the other part out from the other side that the original one had left behind  it came out eventually but I am so mad at their lazy quality control, if it was mine I would gladly send it back and get refund but I know my daughter wont, would anyone else be annoyed at paying £98 for something that has just been repaired and sent back??
All tags were in place when returned and had not been worn at all!!

They're perfectly entitled to choose to repair your item and in today's throw-away world I'm glad to hear of companies repairing things instead of ditching them. It's not the greatest job in the world that they left the old piece behind but no harm done - it's been removed. You sound overly demanding to be honest. I am not a throw away type of person and if they had said they would repair it ok, but I did not buy a faulted and repaired item I bought a new item and paid a lot of money for it, they are replacing it with a new one, and yes it may seem a little thing but when you have saved for 12 months to get things for xmas I dont see why I should stand for second best, if she had of broke it fair enough but it was disovered on xmas day whilst trying onThrifty Gifty Money Making =£280 Sealed pot challenge 1192 Toluna = 77339 Bingoport = £10 redeemed + 33470

I appreciate that it cost a lot of money and you don't want 'second best'. But look at it this way... if they'd have replaced your item, they'd have repaired the original one and resold it. Someone would have bought it (perhaps someone like you) and been none the wiser that it had undergone a repair.
If they hadn't left the original popper in, you'd never have known that it wasn't a replacement. The fact remains... the gilet's fine now.
Ask yourself this: what do you want to happen now? Do you want the jacket replaced? No, I suspect your daughter's happy with it. So what's the point in still worrying about it?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Nope, they're allowed to do it. If you create such a fuss over a piece of clothing, I dread to be the retailer you complain to when your 6 month old TV / freezer / fridge needs repairing.0
