Will I get the return postage refunded?

Hi! I recently won an item on ebay but it does not work, I contacted the seller to let them know and they told me that it worked fine when they posted it. I replied telling them that the battery compartment was rusted and I think thats why it is not working (2 days ago) an haven't ha a reply. If I go through paypal and post the item back to the seller will I also get the return postage refunded? It will be around £10 so its quite high thanks for any help!

no chances are you wont , unless the seller feels like being decent and pays up

i recently had the same , the seller said they will cover it then wouldnt once id sent it

look at parcelmonkey , they can take most items up to 10kg or so for around £6-7 and its signed for which you will need

If its a Business Seller, have a look at their returns policy, if it doesn't say, then they should pay it.

Under the Distance Selling Reg's, they have to state that they do not refund returns postage
