Are all bathroom sinks same size?

I know the bowl can vary in size but wonder if the distance between the fixing bolt holes under are usually the same distance apart(-Ideally like to just remove existing/fit new in its place)without making any additional holes.
I might order online and if they're spaced differently might be a nightmare to return.
Cheers as usual

Your best bet is to inspect some sinks in shops where you can check the fixing hole spacing. When you find one that's right for your situation, either buy at the shop, or order the same model online.A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove you don't need it.0

When you say sink ,do you actually mean lavatory basin ? your sink is the square thing in the kitchen. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0 -
There is a tendancy towards a single pitch with new taps and sinks but it's far from universal. I don't see a problem, measure the sink and order accordingly, all dual inlet taps specify the centres.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
The op is not asking about the tap spacing, but about the fixing of the sink to the wall. The wall fixing spacing will vary according to the make and size of the sink. Even if the new sink is a different measurement it is extremely unlikely that there will be a problem in fixing it to the wall.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Hi.
Washbasin.
AKA. wash hand basin (WHB.)
A lavatory basin suggests a toilet.:)
If you choose a known brand you will be able to find the tech spec on the manufacturers website with all the dimensions you could possibly want.
An ebay special will not be so easy, to find a manufacturer would be a bonus never mind a tech spec.

Then that will teach me to read more carefully, I had answered what I thought I had read in a post a few weeks back:rotfl:
So, no, they are totally different and style dependant, hows that?,
I must add though op, if you are capable of changing a sink surely you can drill a couple of fresh holes??I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
