Hi Guys,
When you go and see a Occupational health Advisor and he says your are not fit to work (Or at least the current job which qualified to do) what happens then?
Would you be eligible for disability benefit automatically or if not what other benefit can you claim.
Kind regards

Not automatic.
Are you a tenant or property owner? Do you have capital above 6k? Do you live with a partner, if so, how much do they earn? Do have kids? Are you receiving sick pay from your employer?
DLA is not an out of work benefit, people in employment also receive it. You may be eligible for Disability Living Allowance if you have walking difficulties or need help with your personal care. You must have had these needs for three months and expect to need this help or have these difficulties for at least another six months

Employment and Support Allowance provides financial help to people who are unable to work because of illness or disability.
