Windows Live Mail - Calendar Reminder

Hi,

I'm using Live Mail, and e-mail seems to be functioning perfectly well (famous last words!!).

However, when setting up calendar events, I find that the reminders option is greyed out which is annoying as I do rely on these reminders!! Is it possible to enable the reminders option, or am I flogging the proverbial dead horse and be better installing MS Outlook?

I use Windows Live calendar and the reminders work very well for me. There must be an error in the way you set it up.

I've done a bit more digging around and it seems that there may be an issue with Live Mail in some instances not allowing the calendar reminders to be set up. Some quite scathing comments in the Microsoft Live forums!!!

I've ended up loading Outlook 2010 from the Office CDs, and have managed to copy across all contacts and e-mails that were held in Live Mail - the only thing that I couldn't do without registering was to copy all the calendar appointments across!!

Fingers crossed, Outlook will still be working......
