Hi, On the 13/1/2012 I was given a pcn from AS Securi-T for £50 if i pay within 14 days then it will go up to £75. I have parked here several times from 8.30pm to 10.45pm whilst at a class across the road. where I parked is private bays outside of offices (can't be sure but I think the one I parked outside has closed down. Lots of us have parked here for years as the offices are all closed at that time of night. On closer inspection there is a sign from AS Securi-T saying no parking at anytime of day or night in one of the windows, but it is away from the parking slots and barely visible at night.
I have read all the threads listed but am still very worried if i don't pay the £50 about all the letters coming through my door, but on the other hand it really makes me cross to pay them my hard earned money! I have been in touch with my local councillor and have received a document about parking laws but am really none the wiser. Are they still trading or not? Advice soon please as i have 7 days left before my charge goes up to £75.

Just keep ignoring, as you've been told in hundreds of threads on here.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Landowners damages are zero as the offices are closed, ignore the PPC.0

Who cares if they are trading or not? All PPCs are just scammers.
You did not even get a PCN so why on earth worry about their made-up 7-day deadline? You really are taking this con far, far too seriously. Would you be worried like this if a phishing emailer gave you a 7-day deadline to send him some money??! No, you would delete the email and laugh at the pathetic extortion attempt. Why do you seemingly not quite get it that this is the SAME thing as a series of unsolicited phishing emails?
I am just an ordinary, law-abiding wife and Mum with a good credit record and job that requires a CRB check - if I can ignore a fake PCN and the letters that follow then you can too. I ignored one 3 or 4 years ago now and still have the debt collector letters to laugh at. Of course nothing happens, a random company can't just allege you owe them money and make you pay (only mugs pay).
Nothing happens, Read the sticky threads, have you seen the Watchdog clip linked there near the top of the forum yet? Wise up to this scam.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the advice. Just discovered the premises that I parked outside are still trading, the receptionist has said she was under the impression that you could not park during the day, but when the offices were closed they didn't mind you parking there, however this is to be confirmed when the owner returns from her holidays! I know this is all irrelevant but just thought i would mention it.0

No problem mentioning it, but you said it yourself, its irrelevant just ignore the parking company.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
