I have received a letter from Argos today with regards to claiming back mis-sold PPI
They state in there letter " the financial ombudsman service does not have jurisdiction over insurance taken out prior to 14 January 2005"
I got the card in 2001
Please advise me on my next move.

You could try the Ombudsman or take it to court ... I'm sure the courts have jurisdiction .... but this is harder to do.0
