Terms and conditions – ‘Gone in 48 hours’

1. The prize is a cash contribution of up to £22,290 (equal to the on the road price of a Ford Focus Titanium X 1.6 ECOBoost in Candy Red with Driver Assistance Pack.) to be used towards the purchase of a new Ford vehicle (passenger car only). This contribution cannot be used in conjunction with any other retail promotions or Ford discount schemes.
2. The vehicle must be purchased from Ford’s designated UK Dealer – John Grose, Ipswich. (John Grose Ford, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9PE) The winner must make their own travel arrangements to and from the designated Dealer at their own cost. Vehicle insurance is not included in the prize and must be arranged by the winner.
3. The winner must place his/her order with the designated Dealer within 2 weeks of being notified that he/she has won the prize draw. All vehicles/options are subject to availability. The winner may order the car from the UK Ford range available at the time that the winner is selected. The promoter cannot guarantee the availability of all models and reserves the right to withdraw certain models at its discretion.
4. The delivery time for the car of the winner’s choice cannot be known until the time when the winner places their order with the designated Dealer. It is anticipated that the car will be delivered within 3 months of order.
5. The prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man only, aged 18 years and over except employees and their families of Ford Motor Company Limited , any Ford associated companies, their Dealers, Agencies or anyone professionally connected with this promotion. Entries must be made by individuals in their personal capacity and not by businesses.
6. No purchase is necessary to enter this free prize draw.
7. To qualify for the prize draw, you must have entered your email address on facebook.com/FordUK.
8. The prize draw will be open from 18:00 18th February 2012 to 18:00 20th February 2012, entry before or after these dates will not be included in the prize draw.
9. The prize draw will take place on 22nd February 2012 under independent supervision. The first name drawn at random shall be the winner.
10. Entry is limited to one entry per person and is exclusive to the person named. No bulk entries via third parties will be accepted and participants who are deemed to have entered multiple times will be disqualified.
11. There are no “runner up” prizes or cash or other alternatives available, in whole, or in part. The cash prize shall be paid directly to the designated Ford Dealer from whom the car is ordered. Where a car with a lower price is selected there shall be no refund of the difference in the cash prize. Entrants are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions by entering the prize draw. Participation in this prize draw assumes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
12. The winner will be notified via email within 2 weeks of the prize draw date. In the event the claim for a prize is not received by the promoter within 7 days of such notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
13. The prize draw official’s decision is final and binding as regards to the winner and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the prizes.
14. The name and county of the prize winner will be available within 3 months of the prize draw date by sending a SAE to: Ford – Gone in 48 Hours Prize Draw - Winners List, Ford Motor Company Limited, PO Box 2439, Glasgow, G40 3WX.
15. The promoter cannot accept responsibility for any entries where the email address is misspelled, incorrect or unable to be reached.
16. The promoter reserves the right to check the validity of any participant before any prize is awarded.
17. Where relevant participants are advised to seek permission from their employer before entry into this promotion. Any tax liability as a result of entry is the participants own.
18. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or vary the terms of the prize draw without prior notification.
19. The promoter reserves the right to require the winner to participate in publicity events in relation to this promotion for Ford or any Ford Company in Europe. In particular, the promoter intends to publish the winner’s name and county, photographs in future editions of Ford publications and Ford digital properties; https://www.ford.co.uk, Facebook.com, YouTube, Flickr and Twitter. By participating in the promotion, each participant explicitly agrees to grant Ford Motor Company Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliates a royalty-free, exclusive indefinite licence to publish and broadcast and otherwise use the material in any media worldwide including the unlimited right to sub-licence (This may include the transmission of the material by our overseas partners). Each participant further confirms that the publishing or broadcast of the material will not breach any third party’s intellectual property or associated rights or that all necessary permissions have been obtained, and agrees to indemnify Ford against any claims brought by a third party for breach of such rights. By participating in the promotion, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against the promoter, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employers, employees or agents in respect of any and all loses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential loses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your acceptance of the prize to the full extent permissible in law.
20. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this competition without notice or reason at any time.
