Failed online job questionnaire

Yesterday I applied on line for a part time job on minimum wage, it took about an hour to register and to complete several questionnaires. Nothing looked too complicated just the usual aptitude questions e.t.c. Today I received a nicely written email regretting that I had not been successful. I wonder what I said that I didn't even get an interview?

It was delivering for Boots.0

It is so frustrating isn't it. I've had much the same response from many an application over recent months. One of the worst responses has to be the old "you're over qualified" response!

It wouldn't be so bad if I knew why I had failed, I didn't think that I would get the job as a matter of course but I thought that I had a chance. If they had said that "according to your questionnaire results we see that you are not a team player" or something along those lines. The thing is it was a driving job where they accept applications from people with up to 6 penalty points, I don't have any and yet I am not suitable. The questionnaire must have shed light on some deep deep flaw.0

I've done tons of online numeracy tests and similar for job applications. Some of them I can say with almost 100% certainty that I aced - still got rejected.
Tests are just one thing that employers use to assess your suitability.
More likely that you were binned without being looked at.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0 -
I also applied for a job delivering for boots, delivering prescriptions it was and i was also turned down,
theres no way to find out why you got turned down. Just move on to the next application.
That's the very job, They seem to always be advertising it. I offered to be so flexible too, I can start as soon as, I am willing to work any day of the week, I am willing to do anything asked of me e.t.c.
Still as you say move on, It's their lose.0
