The rules are posted above in my earlier post, taken directly from the DWP website.
It doesn't mention any need for notifying Income Support (IS) for people going abroad temporarily for up to 4 weeks, as long as they satisfy the IS rules in the first place.
Therefore, there should be no extra work involved, well, there would be work, but only for those that decide to write a needless letter !0 -
you don't need to tell them about a holiday in the uk, and you only need to tell them about a holiday abroard if you are going to be gone for more than 4 weeks. I know this because when my sister paid for us to go to Spain in '05 I phoned the jobcentre plus to check.0
