ppi claim back

hi i recently put in a claim through invester compensation ltd they wrote to me requesting all the account details for the claim which i did then they wrote to me telling me that the company black horse may write to me offering me a settlement direct with them and sure enough they did and i have accepted and recieved a cheq for the amount , now investgor compensation are asking for a fee do i have to pay them as i have not accepted through the third party and haqve not comfirmed anything through them or filled in any more forms accepting the offer through the third party hope this makes sense thanks

    Sorry but you gave them the initial paperwork to do the claim,and accepted their services.
    They were the third party.

    This is sad, because all you had to do was post the info to the bank yourself,you did the job of the claims co and they can charge you as you gave them permission to do this.
