Re-claiming course fees

My husband signed up for a Train 4 Trade course 4 years ago, and although has finally finished paying for the course (in excess of £6k through an agreement from Barclays), he has not been able to start the course due to a number of reasons. When he initially signed up for the course, the sales rep advised us that a new assessment centre was being built near our home, however this has not happened, and he is unable to travel to the existing assessment centre, even if he was in a position to carry out the course. We have contacted the administration department on numerous occasions and they are not aware of a new assesment centre being built. We feel that we were sold this under false pretences, and would like advice on how we can go about claiming the course fees back.

The difficult part would be proving that you were told about a new assessment centre. If it came down to that, you only have a "he said", they have your husband's signature on a contract in which he agrees to attend.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
