Faulty Karcher?

My mum bought a karcher pressure washer less than 6 months ago from Ideal World, one of the small ones. I was the last person to use it, and it wasn't working properly, it wouldn't pump the water out at high pressure. After faffing with it for a while, it worked again. I came to use it at mums on sunday and it wasn't working at all. No power. I'm going to check the fuse this weekend, but where does she/I stand? I got the machine wet whilst i was doing my drive, could that have damaged it? Can you get them wet? I can see i'm going to have to cough up and get her a new one...

Contact Karscher directly. They are based in Banbury. I bought a machine off eBay that failed shortly after and they replaced it with a brand new one FOC:

Thanks. Just spoken to them and they said they will replace it. However, my idiot mother has lost the delivery note and order confirmation so i'll need to get ideal World to provide a copy. Hopefully they will...!0
