Car Insurance

Guys

Now I knew that insurers sometimes don't like insuring BR for house insurance but it seems that is also the case for car insurance.

Which is a shame as the lowest quote we had is from Sheila's Wheels but apparantly I've read on here that they don't accept BR people :(

I've found a list on here of BR friendly house insurance companies but I can't find one for car insurance.

Is there one?

Sarah

Hey that's great! I'm planning on paying it in one lump sum.

Gonna call them later when I get home from work to see if they'll take someone not discharged.
  • hi, just read your post and thought i better check with sheilas wheeels as i have just renewed my policy with them and never thought to tell them i was BR , anyway rand them up and they said no problem , she put it on my notes took her name time of call ect just incase i ever had to make a claim and they tried to wriggle out of paying.
  • I would suggest phoning up too, you never know. Direct line were fine.

Hi Sarah, its an odd one this as being BR it really shouldn't affect you. But with some posters it does, there is no consistency to actually start a thread recommending who does and who doesn't!! This was the lastest thread that may help.
