Windows XP mode and virtual machine without internet connection.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get windows xp mode and virtual machine to work without an internet connection.
Basically, I'm currently without internet at home (in the process of changing supplier) and I want to install windows xp mode.
The problem is that when I go to the library and try to download it, it (a) needs to check the version of OS before allowing download - which in our library's case is windows xp! (b) wants to install it in the library.
I'm running an windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on my desktop at home but don't have internet at home.
I had it installed until doing a fresh install on a new hard drive.
I still have the old hard drive and all the files that were on it - so if I have an executable or similar I can run that. Similarly if there are any installation files I could run I'd give that a go. I assume that somewhere must be my original windows xp virtual machine (but I don't know what I'm looking for), any ideas greatfully received as always.
Thanks.
