I wouldn't like to be 18 again...

I had my best and worst year at 18......I would love to do the best bit again.
My car cost £150 and insurance was £301 in early 1991 when I was 20 but I also had some no claims which were taken into account from my motorcycle riding days. I paid for driving lessons, test, car and insurance myself although buying the car and insuring it when I did was a risk as I was under notice of redundancy which was due to take place in less than a month! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I had a moped for a couple of years, giving me some no claims discount. Having a moped was pretty much the norm back then.... you rarely see them these days.0

My car insurance wasn't too expensive at 18, maybe like £500ish.
I'm 27 now and am getting quotes of around £1k because of a stupid open case so now have to take my car off the road until I get my no claims back (hopefully!)
If I was still 18, I could afford it no problem, was earning on averae £1k a month and actually needed my car to do my domicillary care job.0 -

They are really popular round here. See teen boys on them a lot.0 -
I'd happily be 18 again. I doubt anything much would change, except instead of having a knackered old telly (that you had to hit every so often to get the colour on) and a Sinclair Spectrum in my bedroom, I'd have a cheap PC and flat screen TV.
Oh, and the internet. Yes, I can imagine I'd make much use of that as an 18 year old....0
