PowerPoint Presentation to DVD?

Hi there

i have a PowerPoint Presentation (PP 2007) is there a way or any good free software to convert to dvd, allowing to played in a dvd player.

The latest version, Powerpoint 2010, has a Save As... wmv option.

Save the file as a wmv video then convert to DVD using Windows DVD Maker.

Obviously, you won't have the "click to proceed" option on a video, so make sure you set appropriate timings in your animation settings before saving the file in Powerpoint.

If you want manual control over the transition time, you can "fake" it by saving your individual slides as jpegs then just viewing as a slideshow but that'll depend on the DVD player's capabilities and won't let you do any other animations.

Intrigued as to why you want to play on a DVD player rather than a netbook/lappie? If its just a slide show of pictures then you have the info from the previous posters. However for presentations, the lack of control on the ability to go back abd forward in time with the presentation would be very difficult.
