Hotmail bouncing emails?

Tried to send emails to a hotmail account from 2 different email accounts last week.

Both were bounced back.

Your e-mail was rejected for policy reasons on this gateway. Reasons for rejection may be related to content such as obscene language, graphics, or spam-like characteristics (or) other reputation problems. For sender

I don't send spam. And it's a complete waste of time and effort attempting to contact MSN.

Anybody else getting this nonsense?

It's worth knowing if you're depending on a hotmail account.

  • I know AOL and Yahoo have done this already, didn't know Hotmail was doing the same. Bascially they are "vetting" all incoming emails, to try and get down the amount of SPAM emails they receive. I had to email AOL so that a customer could receive emails from my work address ( they put you on the white list )

Seems a bit drastic, but I guess its their fight against spammers
If at first you don't succeed. Remove all evidence that you have tried

Information and knowledge is better than Size 9's and Persistance
