  • Decided to reclaim 6 years worth of professional fees and charges (Union fees and CTG charges) for the last 6 years and this has to be done by 31st Jan 2012. The potential to get about £150 tax rebate is a good incentive but the only problem is...I have no record of my union fee's - I'm a persistent declutterer and have binned the paperwork for union fees - anyone a member of the NUT and have the last 6 years union fees handy?

  • Today I have:

    Worked 9 - 1

Had coffee at work instead of getting a nice one from the bakery

Advertised that I have a caravan to let on Gumtree and Preloved.

Updated listing about caravan on ebay and the website.

Answered a few queries about the caravan holidays I have available (this is beginning to be like a full time job).

    Checked ebay.

Closed down ISA that I forgot I had and put £90 that was in it in the 'sealed pot'.

Got home and found I had a £10 shopping voucher from doing surveys.

    Did all the surveys.

    Did all the comps.

    Had heating on low.

Left oven door open after cooking so heat goes into the house.

  • 24 items listed on ebay, of which have total watchers of 16 and 2 bids! Its such a nice feeling knowing I can list!

Made meatballs with spaghetti, out of 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 pepper, 2 slices of bread, and 1 normal size mince meat Ive got a meal for me, 2 for OH and 4 for DD!!! All for just under £2 I would say!

Been looking at other ways of collecting clubcard points today, I am determined DD will get a little holiday this year! I wont be taking bags to Mr Ts any more, I am going to recycle my tins and try and find out if I get any points for glass jars as I have loads out back, also petrol, couple of the cheaper bits from there and need to find out if I can with anything else. Quiet exciting.

Morning gang  thanks for starting us off pixie!

Perni just thinking, when I have loads to do - and would be getting myself stressed and in a pickle - I try to par things down and focus on priorities. Looking through my diary and seeing what are my "must dos" for today, tomorrow, next week, month etc. I think when I am under pressure its really important to be extra kind to myself x

That's what I've been trying to do but I just feel overwhelmed, too much to do & not enough hours to do it in! Going to have a rest this weekend in some ways as my sister & niece are coming down, so I won't get much done that I need to do but I will get baby cuddles, love that little girl so much & she can't even talk yet! Or maybe that's the appeal :rotfl:

    Hi all

Great to see so many new faces. Sorry Teacher don't have those..parents are NUT members still but retired so suspect it's a different rate..

Late posting but enjoying the discipline of checking in every day with you lovely people.

    Today I:

    - made a PAD to BC CC
    - received £9.17 in from QuidCo..all from 2 nights hotel stays last year..just shows you how it mounts up! Must use it as much as I can
    - only spent on taxis ( injured so can't walk far and had to go to 2 meetings) and piano tuner (!) the last was definitely a necessity as last tuned 8 years ago and it was sounding rubbish. We have a knackered piano that was salvaged from a neighbour of my mums so giving it a home..but tuner said he gets them for free often..so may be worth thinking about. Good to know anyway. It was a spend but am proud am not spending anything on non essentials...a first:rotfl:
    - dinner at friends for me. Kids and OH ate from fridge and meal planner

Looking forward to the weekend :T

    Hugs all
