can i reclaim if i have claimed on insurance

i had a loan and 2 credit cards when i had an accident 7 years ago. i phoned the companies to ask if they could put my payments on hold or if they could help in any way only to be told dont worry you have insurance on this. the insurances paid out for a year. would i have any case for claiming back the ppi as i wasnt aware i had it on my cc and the loan (tsb) was a case of i HAD to take it. i didnt think i could claim if i had used it but after reading something on here i'm now wondering

You can still complain about it. However, any payout if successful will be reduced by the amount of the claim. Plus, obviously, your reasons for complaint are more limited (you cannot complain you didnt need it or were not eligible for it).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
