Thanks for the tip, have sold a fair bit on Ebay before - could probably rid my Dvd's and Cd's, might help out for a few months, especially as they're all just sitting there gathering dust

Yeah but this is where my dad would say "It'll always be Jam tomorrow" - meaning that when your payrise comes along so will something to eat it up. SO you should focus on debts today, when the kids are young - you may miss their young years but if you work your 4ss off to pay off those debts now, you'll have the money in your hand when it eventually comes along. The kids can then be treated to holidays etc when they're old enough to remember them!0 -
Hi Gav,
I work for a well known 'adult' Party Plan company and work evenings as well as my full-time job during the day. This sort of work is good for people with children as you leave the house pretty much when the kids are due to go to bed so you don't miss out on them during the day. I generally make 40+ pounds per night doing this and you pretty much work when you want to (although they do like you to work at least one night each week). Have to be careful what you leave lying around the house though.... :-)Debt free 2018

Hi and welcome,
you would prob be able to freeze interest etc with your providers but that would still lead to an adverse credit rating which would go against the fit and proper persons bit for the FSA possibly.
However, it might be worth finding out from HR what the rules for your bank are - it may be that you can be on a DMP or similar, but not on an IVA or bankruptcy. See this for the FSA ruling

Looking through it only mentions insolvency, not debt management, but of course your employer may have its own definite rules. Check out your staff handbook. If you can go on a DMP this may help you.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. That would be a great idea, as its a 5p listing day today, so no time like the present!

I'm basically going to reiterate what everyone has said.
Mystery shopping is a good little money spinner...me and my mum both do it for Grass roots and Retail Eyes, which makes us a few bobRetail Eyes is good, as they also do eateries, so you can basically have a nice meal out for free (and get paid a small fee). There's also the survey sites, which take a while but soon add up. And lets not forget Quidco and Pigsback for clickthroughs.
But, I mostly posted to say good luck

Maybe it's just me who thinks you shouldn't have kids if you can't afford them, amongst other things.
So what do you think the OP should do with the 2 he has, send them back, list them on ebaythat isn't a helpful comment really is it?
Please read Martin's thread on the reason for this board, to give support for people dealing with debt;)0 -

Martin's advice is 'Please be nice to all moneysavers'. One day you too may find yourself in serious financial difficulties (whether of your own making or beyond your control) and be very grateful for practical and non-judgemental support from other people.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
