Another vote for Aldi chocolate! Plus, for chocolate buttons lovers, my DGDs highly recommend their white chocolate buttons. The bags are about twice the size of Cadbury's for about half the price. (Incidentally, we buy all our other sweeties and toffees there too!)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I love the cheapest Aldi chocolate, about 30p I think, in a blue packet.0

Fin Carre chocolate from Lidl gets my vote every time! Also I don't seem to need to eat as much of it when I want a treat as I did with Cadburys, I guess it might be because it's more satisfying per bite.'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0

Yes, it's what the OP decided on in the end. It's called Dairyfine Milk Chocolate.0 -
I should try the Aldi Dairyfine...just to compare, of course! I must admit though that I did buy quite a few of the Lidl chocolate bars when they were on offer and we normally take about a week to get through a bar, so it may be a while before we need anymore. BTW, white 'chocolate' is a bit of an oxymoron as it does not contain any Cocoa solids just cocoa butter.
Lugh_Chronain: Here is the latest article from NI on Nestle,

There are, of course, articles from other media that support the NI perspective. Not having KitKat for 20+ years is a very small price to pay...0 -
I noticed they were selling off HUGE Christmas bars of Galaxy in Asda today for £2.00 which is a good deal provided you're not on a Nestle boycott.
I don't boycott Nestle but I do boycott Tesco and Starbucks. There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0 -
can't stand this any longer..now I'll have to go and buy myself some, happy now?

oooh, can't think what made me open this thread!!;)
It's got to be lidl every time for me, imho it's as good as cadburys. And if you like snickers, try the mister chocco peanut bars, they're really yum!
Thanks for the heads up about chocolate offers this weekend, I'll be there with a couple of trolleys:rotfl::rotfl:Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
