Hope they are not closing too many shops - that will cause devastation in our family !!! Oh well - its the 99p Store from now on !0

I've got photo paper, a laptop lock cable (for a pound?!) and some of those screen wipes which work extremely well. But I was after some USB hubs and the laptop light, which weren't in stock. Anyone know a store in London that has them?0

Poundshop has open toed sandals with pebbles stuck on the foot part to massage your foot as you walk!! Must be seen to be believed the pebbles are flattish but huge and would cripple you! Kids couldn't believe it they look like instruments of torture!!0

Poundland Walsall had Scholl Corn and Callus removers, & 2 or 3 different Sally Hansen products for nails/nailcare including No More Mistakes corrector pen, Some false nail glue remover/dissolver and another item which I can remember at the moment.
Also worth looking out for packets of Douwe Egberts Mocha and cappucino powders.0 -

Sallys_Savings wrote:Pack of 2 Laundry balls - to soften your washing in the tumble dryer. They let the hot air circulate so you dont need it on for so long. The clothes dont come out all static and clinging together by using these. I've seen them in Boots etc for £9.99.
I tried to buy these today and when the assistant scanned them the computer/till wouldn't let him sell them and said 'remove from sale'. Maybe JML have complained. Shame as I wanted them but am not willing to pay £10 from JML for them.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -

Yes. It is an up down guilotine style cutter rather than the sliding one. I have tried it and it worked.0 -
might or might not be of use to anyone
was in yesterday (tuesday, burton on trent branch) and they have some sd/mmc card readers. not sure on transfer rates but they say there usb 2.0 on them. there like a large memory stick just whack in the usb and shove the card in, handy to place in a camera bag or the like and keep with you at all times just incase.
also some weird draw string bag type things i thought they were a case for startersbut upon opening it it's like a soap bag lol. got 3 kinda sections inside it but not to bad really, will fit a psp and that so would think a psp and a power suppley etc or even a psp and a nds would fit with the stuff. all in all quite handy just to keep all the stuff together like
sd readers were with computer bits and the bags were behind the counters;)if you like say thanks :j0 -
Got one of the sd readers last week and it works fine on my daughters laptop!0

Think there is a thread about the card readers somewhere - yes they are usb 2 and (depending on the speed of sd card) these have fast transfer speeds - and can act as pen drives ! One forums suggest 12mb/ps or something... absolute bargainous !0
