OK, avid Poundland shoppers, as your lovely friendly Poundland employee (well sometimes, depending if you try and argue with me about where the bloomin queue is!), I have an announcement:
Smoking stuff (incl filters, tips, lighters etc.), knives, forks, glue, anything with a blade in it, and those big long solar lights (not the ones in the boxes, the ones in the stand that look like big cylinders), are now 21 and over to buy (well at least in our region- Scotland - they are).
Changes came into effect today, and no one under the age of 18 (I think), can sell those items either."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Small packs of art and craft things for children - pipecleaners, felt letters, beads etc at 3 for £1.0
-
Word to the wise, though, the string to make bracelets/necklaces/etc. in the 3 for £1 aren't worth it. I made two bracelets with them, broke within a day."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Bought two Jacqueline Wilson hardback novels in there today. The Diamond Girls and Love Lessons. This was in the Metrocentre store - they were on the top shelf in the books bit, right at the back.
I can't be doing with Ms Wilson's books myself - I think she's depressing, but youngest daughter is very impressed with me for getting them.0 -
Poundland sell Matey and Mer Matey bubble bath. They're normally £1.59 in Tescos. Also seen some 1980's style soft !!!!!! DVDs!The man without a signature.0
