  • yep you saw right, I can say I work in pound land, and I have seen that we now sell Belkin Hi speed internet rj11 cable add Belkin LIGHTED USB A TO USB B CABLES!!!! FOR A POUND!!!!

lol not only that we have red, green, clear and blue in as well, only been in for last week [this is the Ipswich pound land here], so hopefully will be buying one or two on my lunch 2moro.

don’t know if there around anywhere else but these seem a steal to me, £15 for 2 in Argos, have a laugh, there better be some left, and for all those wondering pound land is an awesome place to work =] at least it is here, though don’t know how long stock will last, at least I know we got them in the warehouse though, the advantage of working there

I pretty much know where anything is in the shop so that helps me when I want to buy things for myself XD

we do some pretty good and useful items, but sum quite !!!!!! stuff you really don’t need, lol but then again making over ££,£££ each week it shows you just how much crap the public buys nowadays [ cant say how much we make though, but it’s a damn sight more than you’d think]

Are you talking about how much you earn?
You don't say what position you hold, but like most people, I would assume a shop assistant earns the statutory minimum wage, and if it's above that then it can't be MUCH more (given that an assistant manager earns around £14 - 18k).
Still, at least they can't pay you just £1 an hour. :D

Got a couple of fold up Ipod Speakers last week in Birkenhead, there was plenty there. Theres no USB cable included, but if you already have some speakers from somewhere else that USB cable should work.

Also a casino Plug and play TV Game was there.

Both made by a company called Typhoon.

Are they amplified speakers that are USB-powered? - ie you would have to buy a separate USB lead to be able to use them (assuming you didn't already have one) or are you just talking about a USB re-charging lead?

When I went for an interview at the Glenrothes store she said they had made £100,000 the week before

It was only a part-time job I was going for seeing as I am only 17 and they only offered £3.30 an hour :(

I managed to get the BFG , Help Im a Fish , Black Beauty and Transformers DVD combo yesterday , it's not bad quality for the price !

In the Basildon store yesterday I got Mitchum CoolDry Deodorant/Anti-perspirant (I used this on holiday in the US and it's really good) and a CD of "Hometime" by Alison Moyet (her mum taught me French as school!)
    Au Res.,
