Went instore today and found them in the Electrical / Computing section. Comes in 2 colours, blue and yellow.
Didn't buy one as I have 2 already so I don't know the quality of these. But for a pound, they should worth a try.
Does anyone know what sizes of cards these read? I bought one that looks the same off ebay a few months ago, but it doesn't read any cards over 1Gb.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -

Bought a multi-led camping lamp that hangs from inner apex of tent (my tent has ties that will do for this) and it is lovely and bright. Uses 4 aa batteries, which were easy to fit and the claim is that 1 set lasts up to 300 hours. The design is neat and convenient (ring shaped and flat so it doesn't get in your way) and it can also be put round the pole of a sun parasol to illuminate your table. I'm not a happy camper generally but this might make festival camping slightly less annoying if I can see what I'm doing!
Also bought pack of 3 random mixed videos - great price, even if 1 or 2 go straight to the charity shop. Titles included Audience with Kenneth Williams and excelent concert film featuring artists from O Brother Where Art Thou (American bluegrass and roots music).
This was in Kings Lynn - top town for bargain shops.0 -

I am using Sandisk Extreme III 2 Gb cards and these work fine ! These readers are usb 2 and great for the money. Infact the Extremes appear to work better in these Poundland things than trying to transfer pics from the cam to the pc using the supplied cable !!

Hi, another one here that loves my poundland USB memory card reader - it reads my play.com 1gb card, my samsung 1gb and my boyfriend's 512 micro sd (using an adaptor) just fine.0

Note that these WON'T read SDHC cards. You need a special SDHC reader to be able to access these cards.0
