Need advice re window washer

I need some advice about using a program called window washer, i have heard that it held to speed up your computer but i wasn't sure if it was ok to use or download. if someone could let me know- thanks.

Many of WW capabilities can be emulated with a number of free programs, like McAfee QuickClean 2005 & CCleaner for example. OK, a few features are missing in the latter two, but given the time I may be able to find free alternatives that'll do most, if not all, of what WW does. After all this is a moneysaving site .

P.S. If you want a true performance boost, invest in some more memory (RAM) instead. E.g. if you have 256Mb, adding another 256Mb/512Mb can give a significant boost for around £20/30 (may cost more depending on the type required). Use the Crucial System Scanner to find compatible memory for your PC. Before purchasing though, let us know the type & amount required - Crucial is excellent but one can usually find a better deal elsewhere.
