Parking Charge Notice

Options
I received a parking charge notice today from Town & Country Parking. The notice has a picture showing my registration plate entering and leavng the car park. On the day the car was parked there wasn't any notices to inform you of the parking rules - went to the car park tonight and the signs are there (one was placed right beside where the car had been previously parked!!).
Having read the other posts I was confident about just ignoring this notice, but as they have photographed my car should I be worried?

In the Watchdog clip, a must-see youtube link on the sticky thread 'welcome, please read before posting' the PPC has CCTV pics of the car too.

So read that sticky thread, watch the clip and you'll know what to do about it then! :D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes they may sue your car!:o Means nothing except they have a picture of a car, just file the letters away, and ignore them.

Quite the opposite. If you decide to sell your car in the future, you've got a ready made picture which you can scan and send in with your advert in Autotrader!

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Photography is quite meaningless as any sort of "evidence" in this context.

  • Hi 2301,

Prepare to feel a wee bit daft. The first 5 threads in this forum are stickies, and have the word "sticky" in the title.:)

Don't forget to keep ignoring the numpties:D

Let me guess your "crime" was staying longer than the so-called limit?

Ignore Town & Country Parking, and ignore the car-park in future
