I have thought about trying the Delia one, but having seen the receipe for the Two Fat Ladies receipe it seems to have more seasoning and appeals to me more.

This makes a very pleasantly seasoned meatloaf that is reminiscent in flavour of a pate. Confirmed liver haters can omit the livers.
Hedgehog...yes, that rings a bell! But paté? I don't like paté! _pale_ I would have to leave out the livers (I didn't remember that part, obviously!)
I do like the sound of Delia's version. I think I'll probably combine elements of both. I hadn't considered it for sandwiches, so that'll be great if there's leftovers! :j
I have two loaf tins but they're full of cooling parkin at the moment. One's a nice big one though.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Yes it is a bit strong, but this is the one you were talking about, I remember when they cooked it on the show. They tend to put strange flavours together I tend to adapt their recipes.
Good luck with it

Thinking of going back into the kitchen - yay! :j
Do you think that the two fat ladies thing was a terrine, rather than a meatloaf? They are made in layers and are quite meaty.0 -
 I've not been here for long can I ask a silly question??

Nope...Angel has it right...they called it a hedgehog. Has anyone else on OS ever cooked a hedgehog? :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
