tax code has been changed dramatically

Okay, many thanks.Put my mind at ease a bit.Well, it's like I said earlier. HMRC has you down as having 2 employments, both with the same employer. This can happen for a number of reasons - your employer files your end of year return under a different works number from the previous year.
You need to phone and tell them you have one employment and they will delete the other and a correct tax code will be issued.0 -
Phoned them this morning. They did indeed have me down as under two jobs with the same employer. Wow. Impressive! Double fulltime! They are now going to send me a revised tax code0

I would bet it's 99% certain that's down to the employer submitting incorrect data.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
