will never use dixons again. very poor company.
I was looking at AJ Electrics yesterday, they have the TV we want there, and the reviews seem pretty good. Might order from them once dixons have refunded our money! We’ve had to remove your signature. The Samsung LE26R74 is a fantastic LCD telly. I ordered mine from BE direct, via TopashBack and paid £530, and also got back about £13 in cashback. The service was great and they are well reommended. The TV is now less than £500 so much much cheaper than the high street.0

I agree, it's a fab TV, once you can get a picture!! Apart from that we are delighted with it and will definitely be ordering another one.
I got it for £469 from Dixons via Google, and used a £15 discount code as well so got it for £454 and got cashback via GreasyPalm as well so we're looking to pay about the same for the replacement. It's currently £466 at both AJ Electrics and Tribal UK. Amazing, when we first looked at this TV just after Xmas it was £579 everywhere - and we found a review from someone who had paid £699.99 for it and was delighted!! Amazing how electric stuff comes down in price so quickly! We’ve had to remove your signature. Above are a few retailers that have the item for a little more than the dixons price... have used 24/7 electrical before without problems
Personally will never touch dixons unless it is an emergency for something to buy instoreAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I have nothing but praise for Dixons.Sorry!! Before Xmas we got a very good bargain Mobile phone ,much cheaper than any other site, with free delivery.Came quickly and hubby is delighted with it.
Recently my mum needed a new washing machine. She chose one from the Argos site, but as she needed installation and her old one taking away,it was a nightmare trying to work out how we could arrange this.Gave up in the end. Then we tried Currys and all the reasonably priced ones were sold out.
Finally tried Dixons.Their site is easy to use and their prices the best of all, with a code for free delivery. They contacted my mum the night before and on the day,to say when they were arriving.and the chaps who installed it were friendly and polite.Being a pensioner she often worries she wil be taken advantage of.But they could not have been nicer and more efficient.
I suppose it is a matter of luck as to what you buy,and who you get delivering it.No one firm can be that bad all the time,or that good,or there would be no choice!!0 -
Bought mine from "Beyond Televsion". Excellent service, next day delivery and much cheaper than the same TV in Dixons.0

i spoke to BE first, and they quoted a few quid cheaper, but wanted £65 delivery, which was crazy when aj were doing it free. i got the samsung le40n73bdx, and am really impressed. sound is not great, but i use a prologic home cine system so thats not an issue. they picture is very good, and copes with football pitches no problem, which is always a good test for nontechies like me. menus are easy to use, and nothing feels cheap. nice looking tv as well. recommoendedMortgage £242500 on completion
FD CC 11/2014 £5900 (£3900 after BT)
FD loan Approx £5700
Deeply depressing total - £2541000
