Phones 4 u help

Hi,
I brought a new phone from phones 4 u in June on pay as you go. In October the microphone broke meaning people where finding it hard to hear me, I got it repaired free of charge as it was still in warranty. Then in December my phone got the same problem again. Due to it being the 2nd time in a few months I asked for a refund, but i was told that it had to be sent for a repair again, and that there was no way i could have a refund. I feel that no matter how much this phone is repaired the mic will keep going wrong, and i dont want to have to pay when the year warranty is over. I am planning to go back to the store this weekend to try to get a refund.
I would just like to know where i stand, what my rights are and what to say. I still have a receipt
Thanks for the help

They are entitled to repair the item again, regardless of the fact 'you think it will go wrong again'.
They may offer a replacement if you keep having issues, but you aren't getting a refund that's for sure.0
