Gas Usage

It's M3. We had it plastered and had the heating off but it wasn't drying out so we put heating in to dry and then once was dried we turned off. But we got cold spots everywhere once painted and it was bubbling so that why we put on 10. Yes numbers in black.
So when we move in you don't think would be as high?! It's a 2 bed terrace with attic. It is just my family with the same meter as us have their heating on all the time, using showers, washing machine etc and are using between 3 and 6 units a day.
Your useage sounds reasonable to me - around £3 a day with heating running 24/7 albeit on a low setting. Comparing your meter readings with family isn't necessarily the best approach. Do they also have a m3 meter? Is their house better insulated? Do they have carpets and curtains which help with insulation?
Don't panic too much - Spring is just around the corner and you CH can be turned off.0 -

washing machines and most showers use electricity, not gas?
your 20 units a day are most definitely correct if u state ur heating is left on constant at 10 setting.
a damp house is a cold house. once you move in you wont need to use ur heating quite so much.
also remember - in the summer u will hardly use heating at all. set up a monthly DD with your supplier to ensure you spread ur cost out over the year and make sure u get a discount :A0
