I think you get the job of chief archivist.
Or perhaps you really are Sherlock Holmes. :shhh:

RayWolfe had a run in with an idiot here and gave a response that got him chucked off. Needless to say, the idiot no longer contributes.
However, the name "Wolfe" could be translated to a french animal of the same type ...
    Cheers
    Ray

RayWolfe doesn't seem to have been PPRd though. Did you just feel like a change after that?

Not sure what PPRd is but he/she was unable to log in and received no responses to his/her questions to admin. So it was assumed that he/she had been banned for inappropriate language.
He/she is old enough to know that he/she shouldn't allow himself/herself to be provoked, therefor he/she accepted with reasonable grace, kept calm and carried on, albeit in a different guise.
Clouseau then went sleuthing; the rest is history ... 'ow you say: "n'est-ce pas?

Perhaps it was only a temporary ban and not a full ban which would see PPR appear. Lokolo has explained what PPR stands for.

You may find you can still login under your old name.

We're all so proud of you! :p

    C'est vrai.

My French basically extends to ordering a baguette or a couple of coffees. On a good day I can even order it with milk (the coffee - not the baguette). I have the Gallic shrug off to a fine art when stuck and find the pointy finger works well - so long as one is careful with it!

A year ago we were in Normandy and ordered - haltingly - a couple of beef sandwiches. Knew we'd hit gold when Mademoiselle reached for the baguette. 10mins later she delivered two plates of beef stew and butterfly pasta - with the baguette sliced on a separate plate! Took a full fortnight before it dawned the French - for some odd reason - do not do sliced cold beef.

So next time 'le loup est faim' ...... I would suggest the 'jambon' unless you like beef stew on baguette.

We're over in France this year - we do not come back fat.
