I opened a bottle of supermarket own brand toasted sesame oil and it tasted so disgusting I had to throw out the food I put it on. (I use quite a lot of it so know what it is supposed to taste like!). I've had it for a while but it was unopened in a cool place and use by date is September 2012.
Either it has gone off or it is not even pure sesame oil.
Part of me thinks it is not worth the palaver of returning it. For a start I'll have to convince someone that it is not as it should be.
What would you do?

In date, not tasting how it should ... I'd probably not make a special trip, but would take it along when I next went. Sometimes the labels have a customer care number, you might try calling them?0
