Can you reclaim charges on a loan account??

Hi I had a loan with AA Finance, during the time I had the loan I incurred charges on a number of occassions e.g. Letter charge £25.00, phone call charge £10.00 etc this was due to late payments at a time when I was finding it difficult to maintain payments. The loan is now paid off in full. Can I claim for these charges in the same way that one would for credit cards charges? Strangley enough the AA Loan document that I signed says 'Credit Card Agreement'.

The charges were incurred by you missing a payment,so you caused the charges,but you never know,you could try to claim these back,as they are unfair amounts ,£25 for a letter?,it must be expensive ink and franking machine!!.
Just write to them about these,explain that the charges are not in proportion to the reason they were charged.
Put the reasons why you incurred these charges,you never know, they may offer some kind of refund.

Was ppi on this loan?.

True but I guess in same way that credit card charges are applied for late payments?

Not sure if it was PPI, I dont think so.

Send a letter of complaint in anyway,you have nothing to lose.

If you had ppi it will be on the loan agreement,it may show as a form of insurance and not specifically ppi.
