Mortgage Protection Policies

Hi
Not been on here for ages... (SORRY). I have over the past months come to the conclusion that the THREE Policies (Against my Mortgate) I have to cover for Redundancy, sickness etc.. are costing me far too much and I have read so much on here an the internet about how easy it COULD be to change and just to get ONE policy that would cover against redundancy, long term illness etc. My policies were purchased just over 5 years ago when I bought the house and I think I was really duped into buying FOUR Policies, I cancelled one in 2004. The THREE Policies I have cost me £63,70 per month and I think this is far too expensive, I have been on some of the links from Moneysavingexpert and it looks at though I could get ONE Policy from Approx £8/9 pounds. I would not mind paying more than that if the policy were to be one I felt suitable anything up to £20 would save me over £40 which I could use to either help pay off credit card or pay extra on mortgage every month. This could only be a good thing ??? Any advice/help gratefully received. I am quite savvy really but worry about doing the wrong thing, or getting the wrong kind of policy.
