I ordered some coffee about two weeks ago to use with my christmas present. The estimated delivery has now expired and I contacted the firm, who basically told me to that it can take up to 15days for Royal Mail to deliver the parcel.
They have also advised me to fill out a form asking the Royal mail to redeliver the parcel (even though I have no proof that they have already tried to deliver it). To me this seems to be dishonest and I am not comfortable doing this. Is this normal practice?
Obviously I won't be using this firm again but how long do I have to wait before I can ask for my money back.

It shouldn't take RM more than a few days 5 at most to deliver a package. They either talking bull or confused with maybe making a claim for a lost item
The onus is on the supplier to rectify any lost goods.0 -
No, it wasn't sent recorded or any form of tracking. I haven't contacted the sorting office yet but I think I would prefer to do that rather than pretend there was a previous attempt to deliver.
Their other suggestion was to check with the neighbours but I am generally the one who takes in their parcels during the day it would be unlikely that it is there. I think one neighbour has been away during the time an attempt would have been made.0
