Hi all, firstly apologies if this is answered elsewhere i have done a search and cant see anything.
currently i am living with my folks so do not pay for electric
i am moving into my own wee flat sometime next month, it only has electric and i wondered how am i to source the best deal available to me because im not switching
i dont know at the moment who the current supplier is should i find this out? is it still classed as a switch if i didnt have it in my name? also i have no idea what my usage will be - i am out working daily and just living on my own so hope to keep it low but have no idea of estimated kws etc

Yes, because you are in a deemed contract with them from day one. You must take readings and register with them for an account before you can switch to any other supplier. This will then take about 4-5 weeks.
