Replacing or Repairing Windows

I need advice to decide on wether or not to go for a local and small business or a large company. I have had a couple of quotes off large companies that are similar. I have condensation on the inside of a couple of my windows and on inside window to the room. The windows are slowly growing mouldy round the weatherstrips and pools of water gather on the inside of one of the windows.

Local or large companies?
Replacement or repair of windows?

i would ask freinds relatives neighbours who they replaced windows with.
we got ours done with a local company a lot cheaper than the big companies

hi steelatlons, good luck with windows:-) I deal with the same issue, i heard safestyle is !!!!!!, anglian seems to be ok, and I found safechoice brand, try this they have online price calculation, you dont need to talk to anybody that will bother you.

if you have condensation problems make sure you have trickle vents installed in ALL the windows.

safestyle were great but a complete and utter pain in the asre afterwards. two years later and they are still calling to pester us for more work. I now just tell 'em to hiss off and put the phone down.
