business logo design websites ?

does anyone have a recommendation for such a website ?

We have just started up our business and are now getting our stationary sorted, so we are thinking of getting a logo for our business cards , letterheads etc, but as this involves an element of design - we have been told it is easier to buy one online (approx £40-£80 , for a quite simple design in jpeg format)

you should make sure they supply you with the original format as well as a jpeg - a jpeg isn't good enough quality for print work.
  • Hi,

We got our logo from Vistaprint (I hope I am allowed to say this, if not I sincerely apologise) it cost us £15+Vat, comes in 3 jpeg designs and 3 PDF versions. If you email me, I will give you our website address and you can have a look at it. We got to choose the colors and basic designs, and to be honest I thinks its a great service that Vistaprint have provided in this instance.

Our brother in law paid £80 for his and its no where near as good

    Hope this helps

I purchased mine through Ebay - £15 for logo design, tweaked as I wanted it, plus 50 full colour business cards from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/sarahs-print-centre.

They are probably more than you want to spend but:

The above company is very busy on the ukbusinessforums and produce some amazing images with some decent size clients such as pioneer and nochex

Brand identity is a fairly big thing and a well designed logo should last as long as the company so it is worth investing a fair amount into it
