Need some advice.

I have over the past eight years taken out about seven loans with CITI financial in which i was mis-sold PPI on a couple of loans. problem is i dont know which ones and i dont have account numbers.

All the accounts have been settled and i only have one account number (the latest one) which i still have the paperwork for.

which is the best letter to send to CITI and as there was several accounts can someone advise me how much to send.

can i send.....

Not allowed to post links, but its the letter in which you post £1 and supply an account number.

which requires a pound. and then ask while you are at it can you just send all my paperwork.

any advice would be appreciated. i have checked but could not find anyone in same boat. all loans were in a joint name as well.

thanks,
Kev

You will need to send them a sar, this will cost £10.00 so enclose a postal order or a cheque. There are sar templates on this site. The company then have 40 days to provide you with the information that they hold about you. Someone else correct me if I am wrong but they are only obliged to send information for the last 6 years. Although some companies will go back further.

    You are correct x.

When an account is closed the £1 request is of no use as they are not obliged to send info on a closed account, the SAR is the best bet.

    Just had a thought.
If you have the last loan account number and reasons for mis sell

Ask them to look at previous loans you have had, they will have all this info on the computer, save yourself a tenner.
