I made some before Christmas - it seemed so right combining sweet things and alcohol - but tasted so wrong (neat vodka yuk! _pale_ ). I was imagining a baileys concoction and got nail polish remover
. So I have a full bottle of the stuff in the fridge that I somehow need to use up.
Firstly - it contains werthers originals and cheapo vodka - it is slightly seperated but a good shake mixes it all up again :rotfl: . Is it going to kill me? I'm guessing the alcohol is a perservative and it will keep for years
Then - what am I going to do with it
. I guess it could go in some sort of pudding but no idea what.
Any ideas old stylers? I'd hate to [STRIKE]throw it away[/STRIKE] leave it in the fridge indefinitely
Thanks for looking

This is what you gotta do..
1 wrap the bottle in bubble wrap
2 slide it into a suitable jiffy bag
3 post it to shandypants5 @ shandy towers...

I made 2 bottles at crimbo and drunk the lot..yum“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
where di the idea come from in the first place0

Try sticking it in the freezer for a while. Obviously it won't freeze, but it will get very very cold. I have done this with unadulterated vodka and it makes it more like a liqueur and changes the taste, so it might work with your toffee one.A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0

Give it to someone as a present???
Maybe someone you don't like very much? :PLife in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

You invite me round. I'll make cake and you can feed me toffee vodka. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
freezing it isn't a bad idea... so long as you drink it straight from the freezer you shouldn't taste the "nail varnish" so muchDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I got the idea from this site...
1 packet of werthers origionals disolved in 1 bottle of cheap vodka....
yumyumyumyumyumyuymyyy....
but you HAVE to drink it ice cold from an icey glass with ice in it...
(it makes pretty good glue too... made my kitchen floor the stickyest place on earth.)“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
what about mixing it in with a bottle of baileys (or cheap baileys substitute), think it would mix together well, the creamy baileys would disguise the nailvarnish remover, while the vodka would up the alcohol content.0

What about trying to heat it, boil it down to make a syrup type mixture to pour over ice cream?0
