Used 'em loads of times with no problems.

I generally check Novatech, Scan, Dabs, eBuyer and Amazon (off the top of my head) when buying hardware components. Never had any problems with any of them (so, fortunately, haven't had to "test" their customer services)...

Novatech are definitely better than Dabs - my uncle and I have used Naovatech in the past, and he did buy something from Dabs, too. He was quite uncomplimentary about Dabs' service if I recall correctly.

It's up to you whether the "bundle" will fulfil your needs - these are "Barebones" bundles - basically a case, PSU, MOBO with processor, heatsink, fan and RAM installed. You need to purchase the HDD's, OS, video card, sound card, optical drives, etc., yourself and install them. I find that these particular barebones from Novatech give plenty of flexibility in machine design and spec - near-enough as good as building from scratch, unless the machine is very bespoke indeed. Have a serious look at the high-end BB bundles - you'd be surprised what's there and at fairly sensible prices with a sensible, no-fuss warranty, too.

They've got a high-end gaming BB bundle - that's what I started off with for this machine, but then modified the other components to better suit this machine's actual intended purpose which is processor, RAM and HDD intensive, but not gaming so I only put in a mediocre video card. This ensures that the performance is concentrated where I need it and it shows in the "Windows Experience" results when the tester is run from within Windows - the "scores" for RAM access and disk speed were 7.5 out of a maximum of 7.9. Through careful selection, it's proven better specced and better performing than "ready built" rivals costing in excess of £1500.

The only thing to watch at the moment is HDD prices - since the floods in Asia, prices have skyrocketed but are due to start dropping back (from what I've been told) during the second quarter of the year - prices are still rising at the moment so it will definitely pay dividends to wait a few more months. One of the drives I bought in October for £69 is currently £159.99 and rising. Indications are that prices will be returning to what they were last year before the coming summer - if you can hang on for a bit.

@CrazyRed - thanks for the info. Scan got stock of the motherboard i was after and I'll be buying from them not dabs or novatech anymore.

In terms of getting bundles, its not for me. I'm buying separate parts so I can build it myself thats the whole point really. Its no fun buying a machine prebuilt, preoverclocked or prewater cooled.

So far I've got the Corsair AX850, Crucial 128GB M4 SSD, 16GB G Skill 1600mhz RAM, and Noctua D14 CPU cooler and Antec Khuler 920 (probably use the D14 in new rig and Kuler in current rig). Will order the Asrock Fatal1ty Z68, i5 2500K(ivy bridge in 6 months), ATi 7970 which should arrive by Friday ready to spend weekend building overclocking testing and gaming.

Definitely not buying HDDs anytime soon, though I have 8TBs, I do need more space but only when prices drop, till then i'll be deleting then downloading and deleting again :D.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it.

Every Bank use Experian as do most of the utility Companies so for a business yes they do !

Err... what? I would suggest that you meant to post this on another thread, but the fact that you're arguing with yourself (the two sentences clearly contradict each other) is even more puzzling!
