I got some really good news today. My dress (I have had a previous thread on it) I managed to get the bridal shops down to £720 including alts and £50 towards shoes, which I was very pleased with. Yesterday one went on ebay, brand new with tags for £200 so I've bought it for £250 (instead of bidding) and will pay someone independant for alterations who will charge me £45. My £800 dress for less than £300! I will be able to put both dresses together and see how they look. Stuff bridal shops!! Hehe.0

Amazing about your eBay dress bargain!!!
Re the first post - it's nonsense. I'll be in lace and my BM will be in chiffon. The dresses look fab together.
I agree that they are trying to get you to spend more money. Resist!!!7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs
