Boots sale

In my small store got 3 of the no7 blue evening clutch bags for 5 each. Looks like worth more than 5 and even better 3 for 2 kicked in. I paid the 10 with points off my card. I know that they were given with a purchase at some time, but will make great gifts and worth asking at your stores if they have them.0

I got a couple of childrens toys in Newbury Boots today, some Roary Racing car characters (taking cars, not suer of their names but great for the present stash :-)
And a Princess Peppa character set that my children both have their eye on but hopefully will also make it into the present cupboard.
Lots of Rocket soaps and lipgloss/bracelet sets and tons of the photo calendars, that was about it.0 -
Did anyone go to the Trafford centre today? Is it worth me going tomorrow at all? Working full time this year and have a 9am hospital app weds meant I missed out on the sale this year0

or Market Street, Manchester anyone ?????????;););)0

anyone know if there is anything left in hastings, bexhill or eastbourne stores?0

Does anyone know if the perfume gift sets (the ones like 50ml perfume plus body wash and cream) get reduced again?
They went to 1/3 off on Boxing Day (when 50% sale started), but were still the same prices when I scanned one on the 75% day off sale. Do they normally reduce them any further or not?0 -

Really, why don't Boots hike the prices up by 50%, enhance the packaging as the bigger boxes were certainly a hit, and then reduce the stock to 75% off on boxing day. Also I suggest Boots down size the size of the contents within each set, include more inferior ingredients to bulk up the volume of each item as people will be fooled by the enhanced packaging. Brilliant hey!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

MSE is now so big that almost everyone seems to know about Boots sales, so they are much more well attended than they used to be (Sadly for those of us here
But you are right, any odd bits and bobs that are remaining either in the store or stockroom will be sold off for 90%, just to clear out ready for spring even.
You post made me smile though, as Boots sale is always a touchy subject around here, even if it is a bit of a rollercoaster thread.
Keep posting though and keep reading there is always something going on in Boots.
Hi Polls, I'm expecting to see the doggy book ends in the 90% sale!:rotfl: I didn't buy a single thing this year. I was in London yesterday, and was surprised that there was still a fair bit, dotted about the various stores. One of the Liverpool Street SAs said full-price sales are really down.Apparently they could always bank on people rushing in and buying expensive stuff just before Christmas, en route to their train, but things seemed more "planned" this year.
It's also interesting that so many of the stores are publishing record sales, but lower profit, which just shows how savvy we all are, thanks to Martin! :money:
I think the various stores will all send their left over [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] stock to one central store in each area, or to the clearance stores, like Beckton, but if you need wrapping paper etc, the 90% sale is well worth it.

Hi Miss Scarlett, I don't know about doggy book ends, but all I saw this year was a dodgy load of tat. Lots of empty make up bags with contents missing. and general mayhem with bits of stuff all over the place. It looked like a rugby scrum had taken place. :rotfl:
I went on the afternoon of the first day of the sale and staff were already putting out the sun lotion on the barren shelves. This was in Speke Liverpool.
I wasn't too bothered though, as I didn't need anything, but old habits die hard.
I cannot get out by myself any more so had to rely on OH, which was a joy for him.
I only went because, it is something I always used to be able to do by myself, and by not going it just meant another thing that I had to give up in my life IYKWIM.
I am afraid I was one of the dreaded trolley people but only through necessity as I cannot walk without one.
It's good that people are still finding stuff, I think the bigger stores empty out first. I hope you enjoyed your 2 for 1 meal with your friends, and I hope your dear bootsing virgin is still active.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Hi everyone, I went to my store on Wed and got the PJ's and scarf sets I wanted. I resisted buying anything else, it was chaos in there and I had baby with me so made a quick exit!
I was wondering when the baby clothing normally gets reduced further as I have my eye on a few things for my friend's baby shower hamper. Thanks0
