Possible scam alert!

Watch out I think there is a scam about.... just had a phone call from windows (international number withheld) saying that there is a report that my computer is storing viruses! when I challenged her (Angel) she put the phone down on me - OH what a surprise! Anyone think its a scam?

You're right. Had a case the other day of an older guy who paid out £300 by debit card to these guys. Yet he had been warned about this scam twice before (once ny me) - a fool is easliy parted from his money comes to mind............

Cheeky aint they....just tell them your windows do not have any viruses as your window cleaner comes round weekly and gives them a good going over!

I like that!!! My mother gets these phone calls all the time. She justs leaves the phone on the side until they get bored and hang up.

I just had a call from someone in India telling me my computer was sending out dangerous electrical signals and my motherboard was going to stop working.
It took him 18 minutes before he caught on that I was winding him up.
He never said goodbye!
