Best way for international money transfer?

I have around €30,000 is Slovakia that I wish to transfer to UK to use as a deposit on a house. What would be the best (cheapest) method to do this? Last time I wired money and lost about 20%.

Hi there, I used a company called Infinity International, a guy called Matt Baker. They are based in London and were very efficient and competive, compared to my bank they saved me 3% on a £50k transfer to France

I think the OP wants to send money from Slovakia to UK. I would be interested in answers too as I want to transfer money from Albania to UK to pay for a wedding. Thanks
