Hi George,they both do more or less the same,the whole ppi will come off the loan and the payment will go down.
Ask them what the balances will be for both options and what the new monthly payments will be,then make your mind up which offer to take.

Option 2 will get you the 8% back to you,is this a nice amount?,just so you know,if you are a taxpayer,you have to pay tax on this amount,unless FP take this off.

If the balance has reduced a lot more on option 2,then this may be the way to go and you get the 8%.
If the balance and monthly payment for option 1 is good for you then take the redress back to you.

The main thing is the whole ppi is off the balance for both options,this will save you thousands in the long run.

Best to get these options set out so you know the one that is the best deal.

Does not look like they have mentioned the claim you made???,this will have to come off,so consider this when they give you the final figures for both options,as if you choose option 1 this will reduce by what you claimed for.
