ing £10

Hello,
I opened ING using a referrers code to get £10 free - I paid a cheque for 1000 on 1st March this shows on account but no £10. How long does the £10 take to show.

Thanks,
Helen

Mines was in the account before I had even got the PIN through to access it. You could call them and make sure the code went thru OK on the application. Hopefully you will have a note of it.

They seem very organised and friendly, so you should be OK.

Mine came in after I sent the cheque for a quid, pretty quick as I remember

My cheque was posted on Monday (14 March), credited on Tuesday and the '£10 friend's referral' was in the account on Thursday (17 March). They don't hang about at ING!

Glad to have been a "friend" Esalan. ;) I got my £10 for referring you this morning.

It's been a pleasure doing business with you. :)

Interesting point here though is that it's cost them £100 in freebies (£50 to me and a tenner each to the 5 I've referred) to get 5 more account holders. I wonder how many of "my" 5 will maintain the account, and how many will cut and run with, if my maths is correct, their 1000% profit?

Cheers, YorkshireBoy! Like I said, they don't hang about at ING.

Will I cut and run with 1000%? NO - unless you know a much better account than ING!
